The Captain is the highest authority on board and as such is responsible for ensuring that the ship under his command operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Be prepared at all times to respond to emergency situations.

  • Ensures that the vessel complies with all maritime regulations and norms.

Certifications and requirements

  • Licence updated.

  • IMO courses.

  • Valid medical certificate.

  • Advanced training for oil and chemical tanker cargo operation.
